The story of the german submarine U-209
"Rodney Cluff" an avid and enthusiast hollow earth researcher.
In 2003, Rodney was contacted by Steve Currey of the Expedition Company of Provo, Utah who asked him to help plan an expedition to Our Hollow Earth. They put together the Voyage to Our Hollow Earth Expedition with plans to take an airliner into the Arctic to pin-point the location of the North Polar Opening, and then follow that with a sea expedition chartering the Russian Nuclear Icebreaker, the Yamal.
Rodney is the author of [ World top secret: our earth is hollow!]
and owner of this site : http://www.ourhollowearth.com/index.html
Rodney received in 2006 an email from "Dianne Robbins" a telepathic communicator and author of several books on the hollow earth she has written apparently through channeling.
That email mentioned Joe Watson of talkeetna in Alaska who had just contacted her saying that he had a copy of a letter written in german coming from a german submarine crew named KARL UNGER aboard the U-209 under the commandment of the captain HEINRICH BRODDA. The U-209 made it to the hollow earth soon after world war II.
There is Joe Watson original email has shown on the website of Rodney Cluff.
Joe's original email to Diane Robbins was,

"Hi, I have in my possession a copy of a letter written on 2 March 1985 from a gentleman named Karl Unger to Mr. Woodard concerning the submarine u-209 commanded by Heinrich Brodda. Given certain coordinates their mission was to travel to the center of the earth, which they did. The letter is written in German and translated into English. Interested? JW"
Retired colonel Billy Faye Woodard
Rodney Cluff wrote back asking Joe to send him the letter.

The original letter is from Karl Unger, crew member of the German U-209 submarine. Karl Unger says in his letter that he had reached the hollow earth in the German U-209 submarine. The letter was sent to his friend here on the surface world who gave a copy of it to Mr. Woodard, who then, gave a copy to Joe Watson of talkeetna in Alaska.
Joe then sent an email to Diane Robbins who emailed Rodney Cluff who emailed straight to joe asking for the letters.
On July 29, 2009, Rodney Cluff received an email from a german guy named Patrick . He said he researched the German archive website at :
http://www.u-boote-online.de/dieboote/u0209.html
Looking for information on the missing U-209 German submarine. He says the submarine was indeed reported missing. On May 7, 1943 was it's last reported position between Greenland and Iceland at coordinates 52°00'N-38°00'W. The report said the Commander of the submarine was Heinrich Brodda.
Commander Heinrich Brodda
The reason for the loss of the boat may have been a diving accident. It is also
not unlikely that the boat has sunk after a water bomb damage of 4
May 1943 through the Canso W airboat of the Canadian RCAF 5th
Squadron, says the report...But no definite declaration
